Quick start

CommunityMate interface has been developed such way to make polling communities as easy as possible. To add community into the program for polling just do this simple steps:

 

  1. Press "Add Community" toolbar button or press Alt+A to open New Community wizard and follow the steps described in the wizard. After you close the wizard the program retrieves community group list.
  2. Subscribe for group(s) you're interested in . If you're working with HTML-based forums just click the "Subscribed" checkbox under the group description (screenshot #1). If you're working with Usenet community just press the "Subscribe" button (screenshot #2) and then select the group(s) you're interested in (screenshot #3).
  3. Press "Poll Selected Community" or Alt+C to retrieve the actual data from the subscribed groups.

 

 

That's all! Now the program will poll this community periodically and inform you by notification window when new posts are detected
