General Information.

The "General" tab gives you access to common link information and contains the following elements:

• "URL" field contains the link's URL
• "Type" field contains information about the resource type (such as Application, ZIP Archive and so on).
• "Size" field provides information about the resource size (in bytes and in short form).
• "Last checked" field contains the last check date/time.
• "Last modified" field contains information about the resource last modification date/time. If the resource is a dynamically generated page, the last modification date/time detected by the program will be used as the "Last modified" value.

If the link check method is "Exact content analysis" or "Smart content analysis", the "View local copy" button will be enabled. You can use this button to view the latest downloaded copy of the resource.
