Actions Properties
The "Actions" page displays the notification options. Switch between
the "On content modified"
and "On content unavailable" pages to set the notification
actions to be performed when the specified document changes or becomes
unavailable. Below is the description of the notification options:
- "Bring up notification dialog" - show notification dialog to notify you
of the document changes or unavailability.
- "Play sound" - play sound when changes are detected. Use
the field below to specify a custom sound file (by default %Windir%\Media\notify.wav will be played).
- "Send e-mail message" - mark this checkbox if you want a
notification message to be sent to the address specified in the field below. You can press
the "Import from Address Book" button to select one or more
contacts from your Address Book. You can also customize notification
letters by editing the _dead.wmt and _mod.wmt files (see Customizing
notification letters).

"Template" label lets you select individual
template for notification letter.
- "Send SMS notification" option determines whether the program sends
notification SMS message on your cell phone when resource changes or
unavailability has been detected.

- "Run program" option determines whether the program runs a
certain application when resource changes or unavailability has been detected.
You can use program variables to
pass resource monitoring related data to the started application through the
command line.
- Mark the "Download to" checkbox to download the document
to the folder specified in the field below (if this field is blank the program
will download the document to the folder specified in Options
| General options | Default download folder).
- "Highlight changes" option determines whether the program
highlights detected changes and shows them in the
"Last changes highlight" bottom
frame on the
program main window.
- Pro: "Save document copy when changed"
option determines whether the program saves locally a copy of the document
every time its changes have been detected. ("Enable
Archiver" option must be enabled)
Note: "On content unavailable" notification(s) fires when
program determines that specified resource is permanently unavailable
i.e. server returns HTTP 404 or FTP 550 (Pro:
However such codes can be adjusted using
"Error codes to presume
resource unavailable" option).
