This example shows you how to set up Right Web Monitor for analysing certain fragment of a web page.
Let's presume that you need to monitor new releases of ATI CATALYST drivers for Windows XP. It is described how to create such a link in the Example - Multiple Request Scripts: Recording scripts using Multiple Request Script Recorder , this topic is dedicated to Smart Content Analysis configuration only.To correctly configure the program for monitoring required fragment please follow the steps below:
| 1. Edit Link properties, open "Analysis" page, select the "Smart Content Analysis" switch, select default step and press "Edit..." button as shown on the screenshot #1. | screenshot #1![]() |
| 2. On the dialog appeared select the "Analyse specified fragment" switch and type <ol start=1> into the "Initial fragment" field and </a><br><font size=1> into the "Ending fragment" field (see the screenshot #2). Now the program will monitor only text between the initial and ending fragments. |

| 3. Press "OK" button on "Content analysis options" dialog, then press "OK" on the "Link properties" dialog. Now move mouse cursor on the link in the Links view and you'll see the text representation of the link like the one on the screenshot #3. |

| Now when the program detects any changes in the fragment it will show the notification dialog like the one on the screenshot #4. |
