    Right Web Monitor Action Properties

    Action Properties Dialog

    To open "Action Properties" dialog select "Tools"->"Manage Actions" in the main menu. "Manage Actions" dialog will be displayed. In the  "Manage Actions" dialog add a new action or select an action from the list on the right and click "Edit" button.

    You can use default common action properties in the "Action properties" dialog.

    Common Action Properties

    • "Action name" property - this field contains default action name. You can modify it by inputing a new value.
    • "Perform action when resource is modified" - check this switch if you want to perform the action if changes have beed detected  during poll of an associated link.
    • "Perform action when resource is permanently unavailable (Not Found)" - check this switch if you want to perform the action if server returns "Not Found" result (HTTP 404, FTP 550) during poll of an associated link.
    • "Perform action when resource is temporary unavailable (Access error)" - check this switch if you want to perform the action if any error occurs during poll of an associated link.

    Specific Action Properties

    In the "Action Properties" dialog you can set specific action properties, depending on actions type.

    Play Sound Action Properties
    • "File Name" - set the external sound file name to be played as notification (by default %Windir%\Media\notify.wav will be played).
    Notification Window Action
    - no specific properties

    Run External Program Action Properties
    • "Executable File Name" - external program name.
    • "Parameters" - specified parameters.
    • "Show Mode" - the window mode of the external program.
    Send E-Mail Message
    • "Recepient(s)" - specify the list of recepients to recieve notification letters. Separate e-mail addresses with semicolon.
    • "Template" - e-mail template for notification letters. The default value is set to "DefaultEMailTemplate.htm" e-mail template. Learn how to customize notification messages.
    • "Send notification letter as plain text" switch determines if the program sends notification letters as plain text (text/plain) or as HTML (text\html).

    • "Destination UIN" - specify the destination Unified Identification Number (UIN) here.
    • "Template" - template for ICQ notification messages. The default value is set to "DefaultEMailTemplate.htm" ICQ messgae template. Learn how to customize notification messages.
