FTP Connection
By default Right Web Monitor uses properties of the default FTP connection stored in the system registry. If you want to change these
settings you may modify the properties described below.
- "Passive mode" - this checkbox determines whether the program
should use
passive mode while transferring data via FTP protocol.
- "Use Socks Proxy" - mark this checkbox if the program should connect
to FTP via a
proxy server.
- "Proxy host name or IP address" - use this edit field to
specify the proxy
server's name or IP address. You can specify either proxy server's network name
(like PROXY1) or its IP address (like 192.168.1.2).
- "Proxy port" - determines the port on which the proxy server is set
up (1080 by default).
- Select your proxy server's version from the "Socks proxy version"
drop-down list (usually it is Socks4).
- "Username (login)" - enter here the user name used to
authenticate you on the proxy server. Supported only by the Socks5 proxy.
- "Password" - specify the password to access the
proxy server. Supported only by the Socks5 proxy.
