    ICMP Settings

The "ICMP" page lets you configure ICMP-related options and contains the following control elements:

    • "Receive timeout" edit field can be used to adjust timeout value in milliseconds.
    • "Number packets to send per single poll" field contains the number of tries per single poll.
    • "Notify when packets loss is equal or more than X%" option determines whether the program fires notification alert when packets loss is equal or goes over the specified value. Makes sense only when number of packets to send is more than 1.
    • "Notify when average ping goes over X ms." option determines whether the program fires notification alert when average ping of single poll goes over specified value.
    • "Notify when up\down state changes" option determines whether the program fires notification alert when when up\down state changes. Host presumes down on 100% packets loss, and presumes up on packets loss below 100%.
