Link Properties

You can change the link properties by right-clicking on the link and selecting "Properties" item from the context menu.

Link properties dialog consists of two general parts: Common properties and type-specific properties.

Common properties are located in the top part of the window and contains the following pages:

• "General" - this page contains the read-only information concerning the general link properties.
• "Advanced" - this page contains advanced common options.
• "Authorization" page contains autorization data.

Type-specific Monitoring Item Properties:

HTTP/HTTPS Monitoring Item Properties:

• "HTTP" contains controls for adjusting HTTP-specific parameters.
• "Request" page contains controls that let you configure request-related options.
• "Analysis" page contains control elements that define the check method and related options.
• Pro: "Follow links" page contains controls which let you enable and configure Follow Links feature for the given resource.

FTP Monitoring Item Properties:

• "FTP" contains controls for adjusting FTP-specific parameters.

ICMP Monitoring Item Properties:

• Pro: "ICMP" page contains controls which let you configure ICMP monitoring items. This page appears only if you're editing properties of ping:// resource.

Checking the "Default" checkbox will save this link properties as defaults. Default link properties will be applied to all new links you create.
