    Viewing Options


    The "Viewing" tab includes the following controls:

    • "Mark link as Viewed after selecting for seconds" field specifies whether a link should be marked as viewed after being selected for the specified number of seconds.
    • "Mark link as Viewed after opening in browser" checkbox determines whether a link should be marked as viewed after you open it in browser.
    • "Blink tray icon when changes detected" checkbox enables the tray icon to blink when any changes are detected.
    • "Open URL in New Browser window" specifies if the program opens each new URL in new browser window.
    • "Minimize Right Web Monitor on opening URL in browser" specifies whether the program minimizes when the selected link is about to be opened in browser.
    • "Show Summary in QuickInfo pane" checkbox determines if the summary string should be shown in the QuickInfo pane of the Description preview area.
    • "Mark the "Mark link as Viewed" checkbox in the Notification dialog by default" checkbox marks the "Mark link as Viewed" checkbox in the Notification dialog by default, so that when you close the Notification dialog, the changed link will be automatically marked as viewed.
    • "Open password protected sites in browser" checkbox determines whether the program will be able to open password protected sites in browser.
      Warning:
      people behind your back will be able to see you user name and password, because address bar in you browser will contain something like http://yourusername:yourpassword@domain.com.
      Note: If you're using MSIE as your default browser and you've installed the MS04-004 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (832894) you will not be able to open password protected sites.
